C&G Services (Europe) Ltd maintains Approved Training Centre status to deliver Driver CPC Training for a further 5 years.
C&G Services are delighted to announce that they have maintained their accreditation with the Joint Approvals Unit for Periodic Training (JAUPT) to deliver their extensive range of Driver CPC Training Courses for a further 5 years.
The Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (Driver CPC) is the mandatory qualification for professional bus, coach and lorry drivers. It has been introduced across Europe with the aim of improving road safety and helping to maintain high standards of driving. Legislation came into effect into the United Kingdom on 10 September 2009.
They originally obtained their Approved Training Centre status with JAUPT in April 2009 and since then have trained over 1000 professional drivers in a wide variety of subjects applicable to the industry. Continued accreditation makes C&G Services one of the most established and experienced professional driver training centres in the country.
Kevin Parsons, Centre Manager of C&G Services commented: “Driver CPC training was originally a natural extension to our LGV and PCV practical training, for us as a training provider with over 40 years of experience in the professional driving industry. We have gone on to deliver an extensive range of over 30 different courses specifically designed to meet the needs of professional drivers. All of the courses are individually approved by JAUPT for applicability and content. We are proud to gain continued JAUPT accreditation and be associated with the Driver CPC scheme whilst playing our part in improved driver safety”.
The deadline for professional LGV drivers to obtain their mandatory 35 hours of periodic training is the 9th of September 2014, which is rapidly approaching. C&G Services still have places available on many of our Driver CPC courses, some of which are held on Saturdays. We can also accommodate any specific customer training needs by delivering courses at their site or at one of our 3 training centres.
